Service and convenience are George and Debbie Mermigas' commitment to their customers. That's why they opened Park West Variety, a brand new convenience store, to compliment their dry cleaning services at the Same Day Dry Cleaners location at 7 Langrae Dr.
Now, in addition to getting processional care for your clothing at Same Day Dry Cleaners, you can pick up your bread, milk and snacks.
Although they've added a new element to their business, George and Debbie remain dedicated to quality dry cleaning services.

George has been in the dry cleaning business for 34 years, and has been operating in Clayton Park for eight years. Same Day Dry Cleaners is a family-owned business and the cheerful staff offers personal service.
Same Day Dry Cleaners can tackle the toughest stains, including coffee, tea and red wine. They have a 97 per cent success rate for stain removal, and can treat suede and leather.
"Any type of stain, just bring it to us and we'll look after it," says George.
Same Day Dry Cleaners also offers safe and environmentally friendly wet-cleaning, using mild detergents and fabric softeners. Wet-clean gets rid of those really tough stains and gets clothes brighter and softer.
As part of Same Day's commitment to excellent service, customers receive free garment maintenance, like belt loop, hem and button repairs, with your dry cleaning. Regular customers can request personalized VIP dry cleaning bags for speedy drop-offs.
Same Day Dry Cleaners does alterations, cleans and preserves wedding gowns and offers Scotch Guard waterproofing for trench coats and raincoats. Six days a week customers can get same day drop off and pick up, and both the dry cleaners and convenience store are open on Sunday. Same Day also offers home pick up and delivery.
